The Trial

To provide precast concrete manufacturers with an opportunity to try Automated Inventory Counts and compare the cost advantages against hand counting for one year starting January 1, 2026.

Description of the Trial

A guided trial of Idencia’s Automated Inventory Counts system including in-plant on-boarding and training. Trial will compare processes and costs of hand counting with automated inventory counts. Participants will be provided a detailed report at the end of their trial.

Conditions of the Trial

  • Participants must be subscribers to the Idencia Quality Management System.

  • Participants must be willing to share meta data for inclusion
    in an Idencia case study comparing the cost of automated
    inventory counts with the cost of hand counting. No proprietary
    data will be shared.

How it works

RFID Tags

All products must have a RFID tag. RFID tags provide unique serial numbers to each individual product and can be associated with that product’s unique data.

Scanner

Worker can walk around the yard and wave the scanner. The scanner will pick-up on the RFID tags and begin registering the count in real-time.

Idencia

Idencia manages the data and provides dashboards and reports to show your inventory counts. Found, missing, and duplicate products are managed.
